Our sixth component of the "Six Essentials of Health", What & How You Think is crucial to your longevity and wellness. The medical community has long used the "placebo effect" - a phenomenon where a person takes a sugar pill thinking it is a medication, and the person gets better anyway - to validate the effectiveness of drugs, but only recently have they begun to admit the mind plays a large role in the body's ability to function. In this section, we will post articles from the popular press and abstracts from recent studies that outline why What & How You Think is an important part of health. We believe it is one of, if not the, most important of the "Six Essentials of Health".
